As Accounting Assistant you’ll play a major role during premium tax season conducting assignments involving tax accounting.
Some of your tasks include:
- Premium tax compliance and administration
- Preparation and filing premium tax filings as well as supporting work papers on a timely basis during peak filing season.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Prior tax preparation experience preferred (college internship or part-time relevant work experience will be considered)
- Strong proficiency in Excel is a must
- Must possess strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to analyze large amounts of data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The Accounting Assistant is a full-time, contract opportunity in Springfield through May 2023.
