Position Title: Human Resources Assistant

HR Assistant Position Summary:
-Perform benefits administration to include administering health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations
-Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding employees
-Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries and assist with employee relations activities
-Provide support to employees in various topics such as leaves, compensation, payroll, workers compensation, etc.
-Maintain records of personnel-related data
-Prepare personnel related reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends
-Assist in ad-hoc HR projects
-Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
-Conduct audits of payroll, benefits and other HR programs
-Assist with payroll support as necessary

HR Assistant Qualifications Summary:
-Minimum one year Human Resources department experience preferably working with hourly / non-exempt employees
-Benefits Administration and Workers’ Compensation experience highly desired
-Employee relations experience, new hire orientation and/or on-boarding experience
-Payroll experience or general payroll processing knowledge a plus
-Knowledge of local employment / labor laws
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ADP Workforce Now a plus

Pay: $38,000.00 – $41,600.00 per year
