We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Report analysis and findings to management team
• Assist procurement to coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts (as necessary)
• Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues
• Monitoring inventory transactions
• Reconciling inventory accounts to the general ledger
• Work with procurement/supply chain to locate and dispose excess/obsolete inventory

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience also acceptable
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, basic accounting principles, research and resolution, and data analysis
• Knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts, and corporate procedures
• Ability to manage and successfully work under tight time constraints
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection
• Able to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps the co-worker or customer’s needs at the forefront of every interaction.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
