Yard Jockeys & Relief Drivers Wanted!
We’re hiring Yard Jockey and Relief Drivers for our Portland, OR operation, Home Weekends!
Here’s the Job Details:

• Monday – Friday
• 3:30PM start
• $28/Hour to start
• Operate the yard truck in a safe manner, during numerous drops and hook and staging scenarios daily. Involving both loaded and empty trailers
• Drive and operate vehicles in and around the yard/staging area and on various routes
• Perform frequent equipment inspections/preventive maintenance checks reporting any defects to the supervisor on duty and take them for repair
• This operation involves driving on company yard, highway and city streets
• Responsible for recording trailer numbers, staging sheets, seal numbers, gross/net weights
• Daily interaction with management personnel and comply with all safety requirements
• Communication using cell phone and/or 2-way radio with management personnel
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by management, including making store deliveries and dock work.

Job Requirements:

• Valid and Current CDL-A
• A minimum 1 year of safe driving experience
