LISCR, a dynamic, fast-paced, international ocean shipping company recognized as the world’s top ship registry, is setting new standards of safety and service and continues its growth with quality ship owners. Dulles area, business casual office, seeks a Software Developer IV.

The Software Developer IV responsibilities include working with stakeholders to analyze business and enterprise requirements, participate in strategic design and architectural decisions, and draft design documents and oversee code development and writes code to create new applications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide architecture and software design support for an integrated suite of applications using latest technologies and frameworks
• Conceives, designs, prototypes, and tests new methods, algorithms, and models.
• Defines architecture requirements and performance standards to meet application specifications.
• Identifies and resolves of complex hardware/software interface issues
• Ensure that the Technical Leads have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines. Reverse engineer or work with software developers to extract business logic of existing legacy software systems
• Work with the IT Infrastructure team to deliver top quality service by inclusive planning and partnership between the Development team and the Infrastructure team.
• Prepares reports on technical analyses/findings and presents results to management
• Evolve the existing software system applications and architecture in various areas as needed.
• Performs other duties and projects as required

Experience, Education and Certification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (MBA, MIS, MCS or higher a plus).
• Must have at least 4 plus years’ of experience working through the design, development, and release cycle delivering software to market.

Experience in the following Softwares:

• Microsoft .Net Core
• .Net Standard Frameworks
• ASP.NET Web forms
• ASP.Net MVC
• C#
• Web Services
• Restful API.
• Microsoft SQL Server
• SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
• SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
• Telerik, Kendo UI,
• Java script, JQuery and other web application frame works
• Good Knowledge of XML, JSON, HTML, HTML5 and AJAX
