HR Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review compensation and benefits packages
• Administer health and life insurance programs
• Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
• Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
• Support HR Generalist/Manager/Director in recruiting/compensation/talent/development projects.
• Support employee & community events, career fairs & diversity initiatives

Qualifications

• BA/BS in HR, Business Administration, Labor Relations or similar OR 2-3 Years’ experience working in an HR department
• Knowledge of HR Information Systems HRIS such as WorkDay and payroll systems such as ADP
• Prefer experience in recruiting, payroll and/or benefits administration
• Highly proficient with MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
