Magellan Health Hiring for Manager, HR Service Operations Job at Granby, CT Full Time
Responsible for the oversight of the employee-facing and candidate-facing processes within HR Service Operations. Provides leadership and development opportunities for members of the HR Resource Team and the Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator Team. Responsible for the continual improvement of HR Service Operations trainings, processes, and systems. Expected to act as a subject matter expert on TA processes and provide training as required to recruiting teams.
- Manages a team of HR and TA representatives who provide first echelon support to employees and recruiters.

Ensures that the team maintains knowledge and proficiency in HR policies and procedures.
Accountable for the development, training and mentoring of HR Operations members. This includes providing performance feedback, growth opportunities and consistent on-going exposure to other HR functional areas. - Continuously seeks ways to improve HR technology and processes. Specifically, stays abreast of technology releases and enhancements that will significantly and positively impact the performance and efficiency of HR processes.
- Advises functional leads on recommended improvements to knowledge articles and, when required, participate in the drafting and publishing of articles.
- Manages HR related projects to include the development of project plans, team composition, and report out.
- Partners with Workday Technologist to road-map improvements to HR systems of record.
- Oversees the educational reimbursement process and ensures that applications are processed and reimbursed in a timely manner. Continuously seeks ways to improve the reimbursement process.
- Provides required training to recruiters and coordinators on system and process changes.
- Manages the Verification of Employment (VOE) process to ensure that third-party updates are applied in a timely manner.
