The Role:

The Software Application Developer – Senior Level will use their knowledge of Python, C/C++, and/or Rust to be able to design and create both internal and external customer facing tools and applications. You will work as part of a team with other developers to deliver desktop, web, and cloud-based products in an Agile environment. This role will require end-to-end product development life cycle considerations, from design to prototyping and production deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and develop desktop and web-based applications
• Interact with teammates in an Agile environment
• Gather design requirements from internal and external customers
• Adhere to programming best practices including unit tests

Qualifications/Skills:

• Python, C/C++
• Docker
• Deploy products in AWS
• Unit testing
• Git, Jira, Confluence
• Programming fundamentals and understanding of software engineering workflow
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with others
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and learning new technologies
• Rust (desired)

Experience Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience with Python
• 7+ years of experience with C/C++
• 2 – 5 years of experience with Docker
• 7+ years of experience with Git version control
• Experience with AWS (desired)
• Experience with Rust (desired)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
