Makplate Hiring for Quality & Project Manager Job at Gilroy, CA Full Time

Oversees the the quality management system as well as the facilities management. This includes overseeing the maintenance department and the process control department. Must have a working knowledge of quality management systems and chemistry. Ideal candidate would be a team player and would know how to manage a team of employees and projects. Experience with hazardous waste a plus. Ideal candidate would be from either a manufacturing or a technical background.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical or Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics and/or equivalent relevant experience.
• Knowledge and experience with aqueous chemistry in the electroplating processes (A.S. chemistry minimum).

Able to use MS office/email/computers

Experience in interfacing with local and state officials for chemical management

Must have some knowledge of regulations and guidelines in CA for handling hazardous waste.

Must have hands on experience in wet chemistry analytical lab techniques

Attention to details, self starter, able to work well with others

Able to interface with vendors, customers, makplate workers

*

Purchasing experience (a little)
