We are a busy automotive repair shop who has been in the industry for over 45 years in need of a skilled Automotive Technician.

We are rewarding talented and dedicated automotive technicians with wonderful incentives: Hourly or flat-rate pay ($13-20 starting, up to $28-40 per hour for Master technicians.) Compensation is based upon experience and previous employment

This is a full-time position that will require a good driving history and valid Driver’s License.

Candidates with 3 or more years of prior mechanic experience will be given preference, but all candidates with ASE automotive certifications will be viewed favorably.

Responsibilities

· Inspecting and accurately diagnosing customer concerns

· Diagnosing, maintaining, repairing and servicing automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, etc.

· Overall vehicle safety and maintenance inspections

· Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

· Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.

· Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with industry standards

· Completing approved repair orders in a timely manner while providing customer satisfaction

Qualifications

· 3 years of Service Technician experience required

· Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· Must have a good driving record

· Good communication skills

· Basic Computer skills

· Must own your own tools and box.

· Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

· Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality

· Team player

· A-tech level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair

· Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

· ASE Certification a plus
