Midland Services, Inc Hiring for A/R and A/P Specialist Job at Ashland, WI Full Time

We are seeking an AP Specialist who will provide quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders by accurately preparing and maintaining records dealing with vendor master data, invoices and credits for the purchase of goods and services, customer payments and other accounts payable.

Responsibilities:

• Work to establish vendor accounts for new suppliers, including for suppliers of newly acquired businesses.
• Accurately enter invoices and credits related to the purchase of goods and services.
• Work with business managers and suppliers to resolve discrepancies between invoices and the receipt of goods and services.
• Generate Weekly AP checks.
• Review accounts payable statements to ensure all invoices have been reviewed and are entered or any exceptions being actively resolved, including company phone bills, and all purchases for resale.
• Provide suppliers with resale certificates and other applicable information to maintain the company’s customer accounts.
• Assist in preparing and processing supplemental information related to monthly financial statements.
• Perform basic office duties such as filing, data entry, scanning, etc.
• Other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 1 year of financial accounting experience, accounts payable preferred.
• Working knowledge of accounting software and systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
