Human Resources Generalist
Northern Water is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to perform a variety of human resources related duties including recruitment and selection, compensation, employee insurance and benefit programs and employee relations. A qualified candidate will be people oriented, maintain accurate records and documentation, and assist applicants and existing employees with HR related tasks. This position will aide in administering and answering benefits and retirement related questions, review job descriptions, recruitment, background and reference checks, conduct new hire orientations and more. This position will also assist with setting up new hires in HRIS, complete required reporting to federal and state websites, and assist in reporting of workplace accidents and injuries.

The Northern Water Human Resources Department manages all aspects of human relations within the organization, including recruitment processes, overseeing employee benefits, personnel policies and job training. Other responsibilities include compensation review and guidance, performance management, the employee retirement and separation process, and employee communications.
This position performs a variety of human resources-related duties on a professional level, providing support in areas such as recruitment and selection, compensation, employee insurance and benefit programs, human resources information system functions, and employee relations. Prepares, processes, and maintains confidential employee records and data.
