We are looking for an art director to support these works on our global Brand Design Team. This role will operate from an outpost in North America to support our growing US and Canada design needs, working in heavy partnership with the full Design team at our Zurich HQ. You’ll be completing the visual world around our new products. You’ll set the visual tone of voice for our campaigns and work closely with the team to create the highest level of brand impact.

Your Team:

We are a team of graphic and digital designers, studio producers, and art directors. Every day we work on making On’s visual language even better than the day before. Your Mission:

• You will create full visual concepts for new product and brand campaigns based on our visual identity
• You’ll set the tone of voice for each campaign, pulling it through to visuals, movies, POS, digital and printed graphics
• You’ll be responsible for detailed concept development, moodboards, internal presentations, and execution of campaign-related photo and video shoots
• You’ll lead smaller video productions with our internal video team, and coordinate bigger video shoots together with external production companies and directors
• You’ll work closely with the creative team and lead the creative development of each campaign, making sure the team can create the very best outcome based on your overall direction
• You’ll translate the broader concept of a marketing campaign into a target audience specific visual output, filtering and sharpening ideas and concepts into a cohesive direction
• You’ll be responsible to deliver our brand message to our customers in a way that is outstanding and memorable but still straightforward
• You will represent US and Canadian design needs and share learnings and insights back with the global team

Your Story:

• You have a wealth of design skills and experience across multiple disciplines, including a background in graphic design, motion design or photography, and you bring not only 3+ years experience as an Art Director but also a strong network of talented photographers/ videographers
• You are a holistic thinker with a passion for sports, technology and lifestyle
• You have an excellent visualization capacity and a talent to turn concepts into images without losing sight of our target audience and retail environments
• Your portfolio demonstrates that you have worked on photo and video shoots and that you are able to work on different visual styles
• You know your way around printed and digital graphics
• You love being on set and taking hands-on and operational tasks; you look at every project as an opportunity
• Your work is influenced by the style of vibrant cities such as New York, Berlin, London, Copenhagen or Tokyo
• You are a talented communicator and even greater team player; someone who loves to share ideas and help grow them together with the team
