Opportunity Bank of Montana is adding to our outstanding team with a Deposit Operations Manager. As our Deposit Operations Manager, you will be responsible for performing, tracking and completing a wide variety of projects, duties and system administration functions to support bank operations and goals. You must demonstrate proficiency with managing bank operations, the IRA and HSA portfolio, new account and account change processes, platform and workflows and legal process and business formation documentation.

• Assume and/or assist with supervisory control of bank operations and functions.
• Demonstrate proficiency with managing deposit operations, the IRA & HSA portfolio, account
  styling, legal process & business document and banking best practices by creating/updating policy
  and procedures to be used as reference manuals. Responsible to conduct regular training to Retail
  and Operations staff.
• Assist with designing and utilizing a process for tracking measurable job performance goals for
  operations center staff.
• Design and utilize a process for tracking branch and employee exceptions in order to fully
  understand each branch’s training needs and provide documentation to appropriate department
  staff. Assist with managing and/or conducting quality control and process audits.
• Ensure proper cross training of all duties/tasks within the Operations Center.
• Assist branches and customers with general processing and procedural questions, new/closed
  account processes, troubleshooting issues and provide training.
• Perform system administration and configuration functions for multiple software applications and
  maintain records for audit tracking, if applicable. Maintain internal/external user setup, deletes,
  roles and service preferences and perform appropriate training.
• Assess and/or assist with problem resolution with appropriate vendors or staff, including
  communicating issues.
• Lead and/or assist with product research, process efficiency, and implementation of special projects.
• Demonstrate high proficiency with creating and managing custom reports, analyzing data, if
  applicable, and providing metrics or performing corrections/research as necessary.
• Assist with daily or periodic processing of operations tasks and/or functions to ensure all duties are
  performed as scheduled.
• Assist with interviewing/hiring candidates for the Operations Center.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous banking/financial industry experience; including comprehensive knowledge of deposit operationsregulations, compliance, NACHA and UCC

Comprehensive knowledge of bank operations, data processing & software, deposit products & services including account styling, legal process & business
formation documentation and IRA/HSA processing

Previous Leadership and/or Supervisory experience

Education and Experience Preferences

4-year college degree (accounting, business, finance, management or related) and 2 years relevant experience – or equivalent combination of education &
experience

Experience training others in bank operations policies and procedures

Experience with time and project management
