Pace Academy is an independent college preparatory school in Atlanta, Ga., with an enrollment of 1,115 students in Pre-First through 12th grade. At Pace, we provide the highest level of artistic experience and knowledge, and we embed study of the visual and performing arts in our curriculum at every level. For the 2022-2023 academic year, Pace is looking for a full-time Technical Director to join the Fine Arts department August 1, 2022.
Teaching responsibilities will include Upper School Stagecraft I & II and Tools and Equipment, as well as assisting with Upper School Stagecraft III & IV and Design Elements.
Production responsibilities include safety, planning, maintenance, education and the following duties: oversee set build, light hang, painting and technical rehearsals; assign student crew positions; supervise strike; set up Fine Arts Center events, concerts and student assemblies; coordinate scenic load in/out, lighting load in/out, costume load in/out and properties load in/out.
