Our Corporate office in Rohnert Park, CA has an immediate opening for an experienced Payroll Specialist.

Responsibilities Include:

Reviews and verifies payroll data, calculates overtime, other pay premiums and enters data into payroll system. Processes new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, wage garnishments, deductions and direct deposits. Will prepare manual checks, maintain payroll, personnel records and files, including but not limited to sick time, vacation and other accrued leave. Prepares month-end spreadsheets and reports, reconciles all payroll-related accounts and activities. Performs general clerical and administrative duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, mailing, maintaining files and databases. Will actively assist in all phases of the HR function such as providing administrative support that includes health/welfare, retirement plans, COBRA, workers’ compensation and health and safety.

Position Requirements:

• Five (5) years in-depth payroll processing experience.
• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in IBS Web Pay, IBS Web HR-MS or other Kronos payroll platforms, to include Time & Labor Management system.
• Experience with Time & Labor Management system.
• Knowledge of and experience with multi-state payroll law.
• Excellent working knowledge of State/Federal regulations, payroll and HR laws.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and organization skills.
• Demonstrative proficiency in MS Windows, Office, with strong Excel skills, Outlook, and various other computer software programs.
• Proven ability to manage priorities, multiple projects, workflow, deadlines, and must be detailed orientated.
• Must be able to work overtime (minimum 4 days per month on payroll processing days).
