Project Manager

About the role:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing initiatives, key deliverables, timelines, and implementation tasks. Must have a strong project management and implementation background preferably in a manufacturing setting. Detail oriented and excels in building processes and plans to ensure that projects are planned and executed successfully.

• Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Work with different internal and external stakeholders to establish comprehensive project plans with clear timeline, milestones, and expectations on delivery.
• Manage project schedules, scope, and overall organization to ensure deliverables and dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon.
• Monitor risks, issues, and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify resolutions to address them in advance.
• Conduct regular status meetings to track projects and communicate progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Produce and maintain project documentation, including project charters, statements of work, action items, status reports, change management, and approvals.
• Working closely with various business stakeholders across the business to understand impact of implementation across departments.
• Recommend process improvement opportunities with key deliverables and timelines.
• Other implementation related tasks that may be identified as our organization grows.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in business preferred.
• 5+ years of experience planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously, both medium and large scale. Experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and anticipate changing project needs.
• Great critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills, ability to identify solutions and ensure progress in the face of obstacles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
• Proven initiative and resourcefulness to meet project milestones, internal team needs, and customer expectations.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
