Drainage Engineer – Transportation Infrastructure – US West Region
Overview
Parsons has a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated Drainage Engineer to join our team in the Parsons US West Area. The successful candidate will have a role in the Parsons US West drainage team and hydrology & hydraulics (H&H) practice specializing in Transportation Drainage, Stormwater Management, Hydrology and Hydraulics, and Floodplain Management engineering services. In this role, you will have a support role among a team of professionals delivering drainage and hydrology design components of multiple transportation projects. The project portfolio includes highway improvement projects, rail and transit projects, and other critical infrastructure projects with an emphasis on drainage and stormwater design work in the western US area including Texas, California, Washington, Colorado, Arizona, Utah and others . There are also opportunities to support projects in other regions of the U.S. and Canada. This role can be virtually based in the Western USA , for experienced individuals, with a preference in a city location where there is a primary Parsons office. Hybrid remote or virtual based work is permitted in this role.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be engaged in the design of drainage conveyance systems, stormwater detention facilities, low impact development (LID) and stormwater best management practices (BMPs) facilities for water quality, cross-culverts, channels and river crossings (among others). You will engage and work together with other engineering disciplines for overall project success. You will be a key member of our Mobility Solutions hydrology and hydraulics design community.

Salary Range:
$56,900.00 – $118,000.00
