Title: Chief Financial Officer/Controller
Location: Mariposa, CA

• Critical Access Hospital in Mariposa hiring for a Chief Financial Officer or Controller that can be groomed into a CFO.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years working in Healthcare.
• Revenue Cycle Management experience.
• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. Able to prepare year-end accounting work papers.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively multi-task and stay organized in a fast pace and changing environment.
• Ensure that financial information is accurately developed, analyzed, and reported to management
• Prepare and ensure forecasts, budgets, and division budgets are prepared timely and accurately, and the closing process
• Responsible for all financial reports, budgets, and actual cost
• Supervision of receivable/payable
• Bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation
• Supervision of payroll and payroll data analysis
• Account maintenance and analysis
• Knowledge of all aspects of insurance programs and retirement plan
• Solid research skills
• Analytical and problem solving
• Strong understanding and knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles, FASB and GASB
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• CPA preferred
• Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting, Degree Required
• Experience with preparation of corporate income tax and financial statements

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $179,000.00 per year
