Personnel Outsource Solutions Hiring for Human Resources Generalist Job at Newton, NC Full Time

A growing, local manufacturing facility is looking for a full-time, experienced Human Resource Generalist to join their team!

Typically, our HR Generalist will work Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. However, this can vary slightly based on the companies needs.

Salary range is $45,000 – $57,000/year (based on experience)

The Human Resources Generalist offers support in functional areas of human resources in relation to recruitment, personnel records, and employee relations. The HR Generalist will work under the direction and guidance of the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) and will develop positive, professional working relationships with managers and employees.

Human Resources Generalist Position Responsibilities/Major Duties:

• Learn and understand the company’s human resources and labor relations policies, procedures and programs.
• Under the direction of the HRBP, the generalist will assist with company-wide activities of personnel administration, wage and salary administration, management training and development, safety, benefits administration, employee communications, employee activities, staffing, legal compliance and labor relations.
• Develop the skills, knowledge and experience of the Human Resources function as applied with the company’s policies in order to fulfill future positions of HRBP

Human Resources Generalist Requirements:

• Valid state driver’s license
• Ability to move to all areas of plant and all outside company facilities.
• Must be flexible with schedule availability
• Must be willing to fulfill all office duties – which may include but not limited to:
• Collecting, filing and organizing office documents, such as reports and confidential records
• Answering the phone and transferring calls as needed
• Answering the phone at a reception desk or in a specific department and transferring calls as needed
• Creating documents, maintaining databases and sending memos and emails
• Ability to generate written communication and to operate computer keyboard.
• Ability to read and review written communication.

Education:

• 2-year Associate Degree with combination of HR related experience or 4-year Bachelors Degree in Business Administration will be considered
