Our client, an industry leader that specializes in Heavy Highway, Underground, Public Works, and Road Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Manager with local experience to join their team based out of their Phoenix, AZ office. Experience in preconstruction is required. This person will work closely with Business Development, Marketing, Estimating and Operations to pursue, win and manage the preconstruction portion of new APDM projects. This is a very independent position with many cross-functional responsibilities and a noteworthy percentage of time spend out of the office.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years civil construction Project Management / Estimating experience
• 2+ years of preconstruction
• Thorough understanding of JOC / CMAR / DB contract process
• Strong business development skills
• Strong technical writing skills
• Ability to lead projects from pursuit through preconstruction
• Experience in HCSS, P6, and Microsoft Office

• $150-180K base salary
