Position Summary
Conducts operations related to obtaining and maintaining National Nuclear Accrediting Board accreditation for nuclear plant training programs.
To obtain and maintain employment and unescorted access at DCPP, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check, psychological screen, computer-based training, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable salary range is:
California Minimum: $108,000
California Maximum: $173,000
Job Responsibilities
Ensures compliance with Nuclear 10 CFR 50, NFP, NRC, and / or DOE regulations.
Performs basic compliance training activities which may include developing technical standards & manuals, evaluating & recommending new work methods, and training in implementing requirements, work processes, and procedures.
Leads basic projects with a low corporate or functional priority.
Updates, modifies, and maintains work procedures and standards.
Works on standard problems that require analysis and judgment to obtain results or solutions.
Develops comprehensive documents, charts, reports, presentations, and other materials based on research and business needs, and presents to leaders or clients.
Provides advice, training, and guidance to training nuclear supervisors and instructors.
Maintains and implements training programs to improve excellence in training, such as instructor training, using a variety of methods, such as: in-person training, web-based training, and dynamic learning activities.
Qualifications
Minimum:
High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
3 years of experience supporting a training program as an instructor or equivalent
NOTE: a Degree or Masters in education, communication, or equivalent may be counted as part of the experience. Nuclear Naval Training experience may be counted as part of the experience
Desired:
Bachelors Degree in Education or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
Masters Degree in Education or equivalent experience
INPO-Institute of Nuclear Power Operations Certified Nuclear Instructor certification
