HOW YOU WILL DO IT

As an Embedded Software Engineer Senior, you will design embedded software for products across a wide range of industries. This role presents an opportunity to collaborate with exceptionally talented cross-disciplinary design teams include electrical, mechanical, quality, manufacturing and test engineers and see products through all phases of the new products development life cycle including Requirements Discover, Design, Implementation, Test and Transition to Manufacturing.

• Design and development of software (C++, C#, Python)
• Development and execution of software test strategy (TDD, Continuous Integration, Verification)
• Direct collaboration with our customers (Engineers, Marketing, Quality, Management)
• Opportunity to learn quickly across multiple domains (Medical, Aerospace, Defense, Commercial, Industrial)
• Work with a team of engineers from various disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Design)
• Challenge the status quo to continuously improve the software group’s capabilities, approach and processes

You will be able to apply your ingenuity and aptitude through the…

• Strong computer skills (comfortable with Modern C++ and Object Oriented Design), decision making, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills applied daily
• Possession of strong analytical skills and knowledge of software design, including, but not limited to, objected oriented design
• Proficient use of lab equipment and debugging techniques
• Ability to work in our cross-functional team environment
• Understanding of software design methodology, including Agile Scrum Development

Your education experience & continued professional development…

• At minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required for this position
• Industry experience is required for this position assuming education requirements are met
  • Level Senior: 5+ years of industry experience is required
