This commercial real estate is looking for a Staff Accountant to perform accounting and support functions for private capital entities, including joint ventures, that invest in real estate.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Preparing account reconciliations, debt compliance, and financial reporting for private capital entities and the underlying properties
• Assisting in the annual external audits of the private capital entities and the underlying properties
• Supporting various ad-hoc financial analyses and other projects
• Maintaining general ledgers by proposing and posting journal entries for all month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close processes

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• 1 – 3 years of accounting experience; CPA is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Experience with private real estate funds and/or the private equity industry is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Yardi
