We are currently hiring a Radiologic Technologist, Full-Time in Costa Mesa, CA. We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Radiologic Technologist who has experience working at a Medical Facility.

Experience working in an Imaging Facility is a PLUS!

The more experience, the better! (Pay Rate $30-$40 an Hour)

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities:

• Responsible for verifying that the type of medical imaging requested is appropriate to the diagnostic goal.
• Review patient’s chart and perform calculations relating to the radiation dose the patient will receive, equipment settings, and other important computations.
• Prepare patients for the medical imaging procedure to be done, which in some cases may involve the oral or intravenous administration of contrast agents to improve image quality or obtain a specific type of image.
• Ensure patient safety, which includes not only the proper positioning of the patient but also taking steps to limit radiation exposure on parts of the body that do not require imaging with additional equipment such as protective vests and helmets.
• View the images taken during a session to ensure that the image is satisfactory for a diagnosis.

Radiologic Technologist Requirements:

· Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.

· Completed internships with hands-on clinical experience during the degree program.

· American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) National Voluntary exam certification

· California Imaging License certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
