Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with an active Secret Clearance. Relocation assistance available provided candidate meets eligibility requirements.

In this role, you will work with an amazing team of talented software engineers who are leading the industry in sensor and ground system solutions.

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $12K for a person with a TS/SCI clearance that can be verified and hired here at Raytheon Intelligence & Space.

Required Skills

• Experience with object-oriented programming in Python and C/C++

• Experience working in a cloud environment.

• Experience working in an Agile collaborative environment.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance prior to start.

Education/Experience Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience and a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) Bachelor’s degree are typically needed for this role. A Master’s degree in a STEM field may be substituted for 2 years of work experience.

Desired Skills

• Experience with development on large ground stations

• Experience with micro-services

• Experience with real-time data processing

• Experience with small team leadership

• Knowledge of software development best practices and processes

• Knowledge of MS Office and other presentation tools

• Overhead Persistent InfraRed experience

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD – 176,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
