GENERAL PURPOSE
Perform various functions such as washing and visually ensuring customer product meets requirements. Perform a variety of tests on parts and subassemblies to ensure unit functions according to specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position may participate in one or more of the following duties as directed by supervision or management.

• Responsible for cleaning, baking, testing, and passivation on parts.
• Examine and visually inspect cleaned parts to ensure conformance to standards.
• Perform bubble leak testing, pressure drop testing, and helium leak testing on parts. Compare test results with specifications, records test data, plots test results, and generate required documentation.
• Partner with Engineering to analyze test results on defective units to determine root cause of failure.
• Determines, develops, and documents troubleshooting techniques.
• Provide feedback on production and test methods product design issues and continuously strive to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
• Maintain area metrics and workplace organization standards.
• Assist in creating and updating process and product documentation.
• Help maintain a production flow schedule for the timely completion of each project.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED required
• 0-2 years manufacturing experience is preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Problem solving and decision making skills and the ability to think independently.
• Attention to detail.
• Have an understanding of hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• Must be able to read, understand, and follow: detailed test instructions, assembly instructions, test results, bills of materials, standard operating procedures, and all other documentation used to control products and processes.
• Must be able to work in other areas on an as needed basis.
• Show initiative in work by being a self-starter, suggesting new ideas for completing a job, giving input as to how to improve the efficiency of a job, and organizing work time in order to complete jobs in a timely matter.
• Personnel performing acceptance activities of product shall have natural or corrected near-vision acuity of 20/20 in at least one eye per Titmus screening or equivalent.

Monday – Thursday 3:15PM – 1:45AM + overtime
Earn shift pay on 2nd shift
