We are seeking an experienced accounting/finance professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst. This position would work primarily out of our Marietta, Ohio office.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting with the financial management of the Credit Union, which includes preparing various financial reports and analyses. This position could have the potential to assume greater responsibility for the accounting and financial aspects of the organization.

Key Job Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Perform a variety of activities to assist the CFO and/or Controller in maintaining the financial, statistical, and accounting records of the credit union.
• Responsible for general ledger reconciliation, analysis of financial accounts, and preparation of journal entries.
• Responsible for preparation of budgets and periodic analysis of budget variance.

• Participate in determining deposit and loan rates.
• Assist with the management of the investment portfolio
• Prepare various financial, regulatory, and special reports as requested and required.
• Assist with other accounting and operational duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Finance preferred) or equivalent working experience, with a working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
• Ability to read, interpret, and create financial documents, such as financial statements, pro forma reports, ratio reports and other related financial documents is required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with financial statements of a financial institution is extremely helpful
• Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
• Good computer/keyboarding skills with the ability to learn specialized accounting related software programs.
• Intermediate-to-advance knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and data manipulation
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Possess a positive and professional team attitude at all times
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and bondability

Schedule:
Approx. 40 hours / per week. Some overtime may be required. Standard scheduled during normal hours of operations: 8:00AM to 5:00PM Mon-Fri

Compensation:
