The Omnichannel Associate Buyer is an expansion role within the Rooms To Go. This role will manage the Texas region online presence & sales.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for Web page curationbased on list advertised products in an intelligent & creative way – ensure end results are colorful and dynamic to maintain customer interest.
• Collaborate with digital team to influence what should display online based on knowledge and updated analytics.
• Evaluate success & failures for products and business – example: run reporting on internet sales for Texas region, based on results you will provide insight as to where the product position is and how it performed. Look for insights on clicks and sales to manipulate the presentation for the consumer to keep them online longer and result in more sales.
• Provide regular guidance and direction to the Digital Content team to ensure the message online is the way we envision. Intimate knowledge of the product will be critical for success.
• Responsible for pulling digital asset images to finalize design of the web page. In doing this you will work closely with the Manager of E-commerce Merchandising on the presentation of the site.
• Responsible for weekly & monthly analysis of the site to determine what is effective and pivot accordingly.
• Learning the product and understanding the challenges in procuring the product.

In this role you will:

• Work closely with the VP of Merchandising on spreadsheets, copies of preprints, and to know how to prepare in advance.
• Be the liaison for the digital content team and merchandising team.
• The Omnichannel Associate Buyer will be self-sufficient & self-motivated.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of supply chain or retail buying experience
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Retail Merchandising, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of general merchandising and inventory management experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate to advanced level Excel)
• Ecommerce or retail website experience
• Proven successful negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to positively influence and develop consensus with teams not in a direct report alignment. Ability to deal effectively with all management levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across several lines of business
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment
• Must exhibit customer focus, time management skills, a professional demeanor and positive attitude
• Furniture Experience Highly Preferred

• Ability to manage and administer a broad range of tasks including resolving complaints, counseling managers and employees on the interpretation of policies, procedures.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in a variety of situations.
• Ability to act independently and take initiative to solve problems, implement solutions, and create new processes.
• Ability to maintain all job-related information in a confidential and private manner.
