We are Ever Better Eating Inc. a Pittsfield, New Hampshire company and famous for our organic hand formed pizzas and pizza crusts known as Rustic Crust – American Flatbread. We currently have an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant.

Summary of Position: Full-time, salaried position reporting to the Controller. Responsible for recording cash movement, corporate credit card expenses, sales tax and annual 1099 filings. Consolidate, review and submit weekly bank reporting. Import time clock hours for weekly payroll. Responsible for fixed asset reporting, balance sheet accruals and prepaid accounts. Will work closely with Controller on month-end close, annual financial audit, and special projects.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing organization
• Excellent Excel skills required and QuickBooks experience preferred
• Accurate data entry skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines under daily time constraints
• Capability to find and identify system weaknesses and propose new workflow solutions
• Ability to work independently as well as part of growing team
• Professional and courteous with strong relationship building skills

Pay for the role starts at $60,000 per year and increases depending on level of experience.
