Description

Responsible for building, maintaining, and analyzing program data. Duties include generating program/project status, cost and schedule indicators, project schedule trends, critical path analysis, and schedule optimizations. Responsible for developing and analyzing weekly/monthly reports on business related metrics. Identifies potential project trends and risks to management. Supports creation of cost estimates for procurement actions. Develops business systems and processes based on user needs and requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to enable management to make program decisions based on cost benefit analysis and schedule considerations. May have quality assurance responsibilities. Serves as an expert contributor in particular business processes responsible for formulating systems scope and objectives relative to the organization’s business plan and industry requirements. Acts independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems. Can create mathematical models and provide quantitative methods related to business processes/ practices.

Provide programmatic support to the FAA Time Based Flow Management (TBFM) program to support investment and development activities for system enhancements, and coordination with external systems and programs that the TBFM system interfaces.

Qualifications

MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Outline specific program initiatives and develop detailed plans
• Support Key Milestone Reviews (Requirements, Design, Test)
• Support regular or ad-hoc meetings with Contractors
• Provide qualitative assessment of program progress via metrics monitoring and predict program ability to meet schedule.
• Expertise with MS Office Suite

Education and experience: Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree and 1-2 years’ experience. Would consider Associate’s degree and 5 years of related experience, or 10 years of related experience, in lieu of degree.

US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
