Clinic Surgery Scheduling Coordinator (Corvallis, Oregon)

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Performs surgery scheduling duties, as well as prior authorization, coding, and general office duties.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Cardiology team of cardiologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses provides a full spectrum of care for a healthy heart. We complete hundreds of interventional cardiovascular procedures (such as stents) each year and are up to date with cardiology treatment options.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.

2. Post-secondary courses in Medical Terminology, computer applications and secretarial skills, or equivalent required.

3. Experience and/or training in a hospital or medical office doing similar tasks preferred.

4. Experience and/or training in reception or a customer service setting required.

Schedule/Shift:
-Day shift: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Compensation:

$16.84 – $24.73 per hour (depending on experience)
