Project Director

Key Elements of the Role

Manage the setup and implementation of business information systems projects for Sarda.

Serve as single point of contact to coordinate projects, initiate/lead weekly team meetings, communicate next steps, and ensure execution of key milestones/deliverables.

Develop and maintain timelines for PM tasks (production, design, sample creation etc.).

Work with PM team to set up projects/templates in ASANA and create master schedule view for projects.

Recognize potential problem areas/gaps and implement alternative strategies. Effectively identify opportunities for efficiency improvement and/or best practice application for program development and execution.

Ensure the successful delivery of projects to plan and within budget, while ensuring that the deliverables meet the underlying business case.

Lead and manage project teams from Initiation through ASANA.

Create and manage project plans ensuring appropriate feedback and buy-in from all functional groups.

Proactively assess project issues and facilitate mitigation plan to ensure project success.

Present status updates and report on potential issues and mitigation plans to teams

Knowledge: Knowledge of Project Management principles and strategies; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Task Management Programs like ASANA or Teams

Skill: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, excellent computer skills, must be well organized; skill in facilitating effective in person timeline management and working in a team.

Ability: To effectively interact with all members of the organization; ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at one time without sacrificing quality of work.

Education/Experience: Any combination of education and required skills and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or Science
• 1-3 years Project Management and/or Scheduling experience

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
