We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team!
The Software Engineer designs and implements real time embedded software to develop and maintain Selex navigational and surveillance products. This engineer will participate in all aspects of the product lifecycle including requirements development, project planning and scheduling, design, implementation, integration, test and maintenance. Development will be conducted in accordance with Selex internal processes, DO-278, and customer driven processes.
Requirements:
3 or more years of embedded Software Engineer experience with design, documentation and testing. Candidate must be conversant in development lifecycle and capable of handling complex problems with minimal supervision. Required to design and document software through the preparation of software development plans, software specifications, software code, and test procedures. Required to understand and interact with digital, analog, and RF circuits including working knowledge of electrical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers. Experience required generating software and system test procedures and tests. Ability to support manufacturing organization through development and improvement of products, improved test methods, test procedures, consultation and fault isolation.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited school, or Computer Science
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience with real-time design preferred
Experience with Linux, scripting, and automated testing preferred
Experience with FPGA, Navigational Aids, ADS-B, Transponders, TCAS, SSR, or IFF beneficial but not required.
