Great opportunity for someone with experience leading, owning all financial reporting including month end close reporting process for multiple location growing privately held business.

Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.

Partner with Chief Financial Officer to complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.

Operation Minded and Driven to:

Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements for enterprise as well as regional and branch locations.

Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.

Cash flow analysis – enterprise as well as divisionally

Breakeven analysis annually to drive productivity to field locations

Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.

Facilitate timely month-end and year-end close process.

Review and report actual to budget variances to Chief Financial Officer.

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.

Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.

Guide junior accountants and other staff by answering questions and coordinating informational classes.

Involved in department review of new accounting software slated for 2022.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
