Share Scoops is an interactive news and data platform focused on creating a more inclusive and sustainable economy. We help people build the confidence to invest by making business news more engaging, with interactive polling, gamification, and a holistic focus on corporations’ social, economic, and environmental impacts. Our user polling creates more efficient comprehension while serving as a new system of corporate accountability. We’ve built a strong community following around our MVP, graduated from a startup accelerator, and are now developing our mobile app and web platform.

Role Summary

We are currently looking for a talented and passionate engineer to impact our native mobile app and desktop web development substantially. Applicants for this role should be comfortable scaling technology for a fast-growing digital media startup.

It is critical for our Senior Engineer to have a passion for innovation and creativity, building strong and productive relationships with all team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the Share Scoops platform across mobile and web

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Full-stack engineer with a minimum of 5 years career experience in product development, 10+ years of engineering experience preferred

• Strong communication skills, able to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical partners

• Comfort with ambiguity, able to handle the unexpected with flexibility and collaboration

• Committed to the highest ethical and professional standards

• Experience designing and managing a consumer-focused mobile platform, with a background in social, gamification, education, media, and/or finance preferred
