Shars Tool Company Hiring for Graphic Designer / Photographer / Video Job at Saint Charles, IL Full Time

Job description

We are currently looking for a full time Graphic Designer with Photography and Video experience to work in house at our location in St Charles IL. The job will consist of taking photographs of items from our extensive product line, proofing, photo editing, touch up and uploading to our web site.

The position would also require the applicant to design E-catalogs and print catalogs for distribution to our large customer base along with some e-commerce marketing such as sales banners, sales flyers, logos, trade show material and instagram advertisement materials. The position would require the applicant to be proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Indesign or Illustrator and have some photography experience.

Requirements:

* Proficient in Photoshop or Illustrator

*1-2 years photography experience

* E-commerce experience a plus

*A four year degree in Graphic Arts or Comparable is preferred, however practical experience will be accepted. Please bring your portfolio of completed projects.

* Comfortable with uploading photos and text to Social Media

* Must have a quick learning curve and be able to work in a fast paced environment

*Must be a self starter and work unsupervised

Shars Tool is a privately-owned industrial machine tool supplier based in St. Charles, IL. In operation since the 1970s, Shars has continued to grow its operations annually and expand its large, online retail presence. Our offices are located within the Legacy Business Center off of Kirk Rd in St. Charles, IL.
