The right candidate will design, implement and support customized computer control systems in compliance with control engineering principles, company standards, project requirements and associated specifications. We are requiring a minimum of two years’ experience developing applications in C/C++/C#.

As a Software Engineer and programing problem solver, you will have a unique opportunity to make a significant and meaningful contribution to the growth and success of SI Systems LLC by:

• Understanding and implementing robotic automation software solutions in dispensing, warehouse software, and other technologies.
• Being well versed in object-oriented programing techniques
• Having advanced knowledge of C/C++/C# computer languages with a minimum of two years of experience
• Being proficient in creating/maintaining Microsoft Foundation Class applications
• Being proficient in Microsoft .NET framework architecture
• Being proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Being proficient in creating/maintaining web-based applications using JSON, ASP.Net and Angular
• Being proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL command language
• Being proficient with Windows operating systems
• Being familiar with socket-based communication protocols
• Being proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly spreadsheets and document preparation
• Designing and/or modifying, writing, and documenting control system programs from functional specifications
• Testing, debugging, and installing control system hardware and software
• Creating and processing required bills of materials and related specifications, for material planning purposes
• Completing detail or routine research and development assignments as directed
• Training customer personnel and develop and/or modify maintenance personuals
• Providing ongoing customer support
• Being willing to travel 25% to 50% for customer installations and to interface with customers
• Being able to multi-task and work on several applications at a time, all while meeting defined due dates

• Understand computers including software engineering principles, operating system fundamentals, software development methodology, control and intercommunication concepts
• Are comfortable using common hand tools
• Have a proven track record of relevant experience

• Hold a B.S. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

When you aren’t out at customer locations throughout the US and the world, this job is located in our headquarters in EASTON, PA! We would like you to be willing to work out of that office FULL TIME. There is much to learn, and the best place to build up the institutional knowledge you need to be successful is to be on site with us in Easton.
