Summary Description:

We are looking for the right expert to join our team and step into a role of Accounts Payable Clerk. You have experience and a passion for consumer products and will be an integral part of the team to aid in improving processes. Strong organization and communication skills will be a key to your success in this role.

What You will do:

• Accurately process all invoices and wires for payment
• Cross check factory invoices against BOLs and receivers for accuracy
• Track PO payments to make sure any deposits made are accounted for in final payment
• Verify coding of company credit card transactions & process employee expense reports
• Setup new vendors using proper documentation
• Answer emails and phone calls professionally
• Assist Controller with various accounting projects – audits, month end processing, etc.
• Look for continuous process improvement to make self and department more accurate and efficient
• Perform additional, related duties as needed.

To Succeed in this role, you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or soon to be graduate
• Functional knowledge of Excel and ability to write basic formulas
• Ability to work well independently and with teams
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to issues
• To be detail oriented as well as have the ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills and customer service (written and verbal)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
