SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

General areas of responsibility:

• Accounting
• General Business – for Abbey and School Business Office
• Human Resources
• Other Duties – other duties as assigned

Requirements

-Extensive knowledge of accounting practices including:

• Bank reconciliations
• General Ledger account reconciliations
• Month end and year end closing procedures
• Budgeting
• Accounting for investments

-Experience with accounting software and ability to perform high level accounting transactions

-Undergraduate degree in accounting or equivalent and at least 3 years’ experience preferred

-Experience in management of small business

-Willingness to assist in overall management and upkeep of Abbey and School and willingness to take on duties as assigned.

Other Duties

-Preparing analyses and reports for management and Board

-Preparing reports for outside organizations

-Human Resource management including payroll and employee benefit programs.

-Communication with families about costs and services

-Administration of financial aid program

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
