Principal Duties, Responsibilities and Skills:
8+ years of application management/leadership experience
5+ years of experience in Agile practices
Combined 10+ years of hands-on Software Development experience
Work with Operations, Project Managers, and Project Owners to design and develop effective projects
Track and manage budgets for your organization and tie back to the larger enterprise budgets
Proficient knowledge and use of Kubernetes, Azure/AWS, Java, CI/CD Infrastructure, Microservices, SQL Server, Docker, REST, Unit and Integration testing
Ability to coach, mentor, and provide direct, timely performance feedback to both development and QA engineers and managers
Ability to identify, recruit, hire, and build high-performing teams
Ability to manage both in-house, off-shore, and outsourced development and QA teams
Ability to analyze, propose and implement timely, cost effective, quality solutions for all issues or problems within area of responsibility
Mentor managers to implement best practices to motivate and organize their teams.
Prepare schedules, report status as well as make hiring decisions.
Establish hiring bar for all managers as well as individual contributors.
Ensure to provide proven ability to evaluate and improve software development best practices.
Provide version control processes to assure consistency, quality and timeliness.
DevOps experience a plus
Experience in Financial Services Industry a plus

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before managers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Other Skills and Abilities: Excellent time management, decision making, prioritization and organization skills. Working knowledge of antivirus and firewall solutions. Proven technical aptitude and proven customer service aptitude.
