• Location: Fort Collins, CO (in-person)
• Status: Full-time, 40/hrs. week

In this position you will provide key analytical insights to enable enlightened decision making within a rapidly growing, ambitious organization. Will report to key stakeholders, updating the company’s overall financial rolling forecast; will facilitate the annual budgeting process; will collaborate with all levels of the organization to resolve issues of varying magnitude with robust financial analysis. Responsible for assisting in the preparation of various financial activities including data gathering, trending, modeling, forecasting, planning, and reporting. Will collect information from various areas across the company and assist in the building of models, providing insight to underlying business dynamics. Will contribute to the annual budgeting process, and other initiatives as they arise; and will have the capabilities to own and contribute to processes and/or portions of processes.

Essential Duties:

• Prepares accurate and timely financial and business-related analysis, research, and forecasts including financial and expense performance.
• Compiles and prepares accurate and timely reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
• Conceptualizes, develops, and presents business cases to present to department financial leadership.
• Participates in special financial and business-related studies as needed to support project objectives.
• Partners with other departments in the preparation of analysis and to identify improvement opportunities that can provide positive results to the bottom line.
• Contributes to critical planning and analysis processes.
• Applies high level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of business issues.
• Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and some project direction input.
• Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
• Provides mentoring and training to other analysts on reports, systems, and financial process flow.
• Acts as an internal consultant and interacts with appropriate level management.
• Provides insights into the performance of the business.

Strong candidates will be detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities, deadlines and changing priorities. They will also possess initiative, self-direction, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, as well as have the ability to contribute as a member of a team, have excellent spreadsheet/database skills, and manage confidential information.

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or similar field; 5+ years of experience in financial analysis; Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; Proficiency in excel; Valid CO driver’s license.
• Preferred: Bilingual and Bi-cultural;MBA; deep understanding of GAAP with experience in Phrophix Budgeting/Forecasting software;7+ years of experience in financial analysis; Experience in statistical modeling; Understanding or experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI.

The hiring range for this position is $67,350 – $80,820/year based on relevant experience.
