Position Overview:

Table 3 Restaurant Group is searching for an experienced Accounting Assistant to be a part of our growing team. This person will be responsible for maintaining financial records by accurately recording the day-to-day financial transactions of the company.

Accounting Assistant responsibilities include full A/P cycle, reconciling Corporate Credit Card, assisting with month-end and year-end close. If you have an Accounting degree and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices and identify discrepancies
• Reconcile Corporate credit card
• Manage Petty Cash transactions
• Prepare bank deposits
• Assist with monthly billing and receipts from customers including event reconciliation
• Analyze and record monthly Sales Journals
• Reconcile Intercompany transactions
• Reconcile checking accounts
• File monthly Meals Tax returns

Requirements and skills

• At least a 2 year degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Minimum of 2 years prior bookkeeping experience; Quickbooks experience a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Ability to meet deadlines while multi-tasking
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Attentive to detail and good organization skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
