The Creative Director (CD) position needs to lead our creative team in delivering outstanding creative work and demonstrating incisive strategic vision on behalf of our life sciences clients. This role will focus on digital experience innovation as well as supervising the entire creative process and guiding the creative team—art directors, copywriters, and visual designers—and aligning with our offshore teams. This CD is a digitally savvy individual who can grasp business imperatives, utilize data, and understand customer insights to translate them into strategically focused creative ideas and deliverables. Provide strong creative thinking and execution in all business verticals including retail and CPG spaces and brands. This CD is able to empathize with and engage our client’s customer in order to create meaningful, intuitive, and effective experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising a cross-functional team of art directors, visual designers, copywriters, in the strategic development of messages and deliverables
• Developing strategic and creative direction for the development of experiential, innovative and actionable creative initiatives
• Shepherding and advocating for the creatives and their ideas and projects
• Being a bridge between the creative department and the extended team
• Building and maintaining a creative environment for your team
• Owning the creative philosophy and standards across the department and/or agency
• Conducting brainstorming sessions with the creative team
• Reviewing art, visual design, and copy developed by the team to ensure all deliverables are on-brief and effectively address marketing goals and challenges
• Producing fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling customer experiences for visually sophisticated audiences
• Leading the creation of effective video and motion-based presentation projects

Qualifications:

• 8-10+ years of relevant creative experience that includes creative leadership roles
• 6+ years of B2B, consumer-based and CPG brand and corporate communication campaign creative development
• Bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred
• Portfolio that highlights design thinking and solutions for brand and corporate campaigns, digital-based promotional campaign, web-based applications, mobile applications, and consumer-facing websites and/or applications, others
• Demonstrate a healthy understanding of digital marketing
• A solid comprehension of and experience with medical affairs and scientific information, how it pertains to client needs, and informs customer communications and engagements
• A strong appreciation of and knowledge of video and motion and how it effects customer experience
• Have great presence and the ability to detail every aspect of a creative idea and how it solves client challenges
• Has led effective pitch presentations, both internal and external to client
• Excellent organization, time management, and understanding the life of a project
• Business-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Workshop facilitation a plus
• An appreciation for technology and how it drives customer experience and engagement
• A good understanding of data strategy and its importance in customer understanding
• Willing to travel internationally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 – $190,000.00 per year
