Job Description – Application Developer

Design, development, implementation, and maintenance of web-based applications and solutions for Cornerstone and Corporate clients. Work with Clients, Sales, Support, and Development groups to ensure solutions meet reliability, security and functional requirements. Collaborate with appropriate staff to ensure quality customer documentation.

• Architect/design enterprise wide solutions, using current technologies while employing industry accepted best practices
• Develop UI/UX elements/components in support of Cornerstone application and product development efforts
• Enhance and maintain existing Cornerstone web-based applications/systems/web site
• Create knowledge base articles/blogs to disseminate web solutions knowledge to Cornerstone resources and clients
• Excellent working knowledge of database design/development principles and experience employing databases in a web-based environment
• Perform other short-term and long-term tasks and duties as assigned by Management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational and project planning skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and support staff
• In-depth knowledge of the following web markup and scripting languages: HTML 5, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, VB Script, XML, JSON, & XSL/T
• Strong background with one or more of: Windows 10, or MS Server 2016/2019
• Strong knowledge of C#, IIS, SQL, .NET, .NET core, and MVC
• Working knowledge of MS DevOps or comparable development environment
• Expertise in current internet standards, web browsers and browser specifications

Additional Requirements and Skills:

• Flexible team player, works effectively with individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise
• Thought leadership regarding new technologies for internet/web solutions development
• Working knowledge of networking technologies, including internet security, encryption, & basic networking concepts
• Ability to clearly document all projects deliverables and work methods
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, attention to detail

The following are a plus:

• Linux, PHP, VB, and AngularJS
• Mobile development (android and apple)
• Apache/Tomcat, CGI, Java, and J2EE knowledge
• Content managed PHP sites (e.g. WordPress, Joomla, Moodle)
• Experience with desktop publishing/imaging applications (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
