Position Summary

The Engineering Company is looking for a Project Engineer to be responsible for working on transportation projects to include the design and construction management of transportation systems. Projects may include rehabilitation and new construction of roads and sidewalks, bridges and highways, airports and seaports. Duties include performing design, calculations, developing construction drawings and specifications, creating project schedules, inspecting and visiting job sites, filing permit applications with regulatory agencies, and communicating with stakeholders, clients and residents.

The Project Engineer will work closely with engineers and contractors in a dynamic setting, and the time will be spent between the field and the office. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have work experience in the design and construction of transportation systems.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. (required)
• 5 years of work experience in transportation systems (required)
• Professional Engineering (PE) or Engineering Intern (EI) license. (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience using Civil 3D, AutoCAD or Microstation. (required)

Pay: Up to $140,000.00 per year
