1)work with customers to ensure that all operations work quickly and that sufficient equipment is available. Integrate with customer service team on daily bases.
2)Review terminal operations in all locations to insure they meet or exceed standards and solve pending issues.
3)Assist with the tracking down of overdue equipment and verify that system records are correct. Work with team to eliminate future failures.
4) Work with terminal operators that equipment is ready and forecast any potential shortages. Collaborate with MR team on best practice.
5)Interface with customer service team and truckers to getting them out as rapidly as possible to keep our high standard of service.
6) Have staff verify physical inventories of equipment back to system information.
7) Verify fleet files are correct to lease invoices. Report to appropriate governing bodies Grier/ Insurance of any changes.
8) organize trucking of repair and repositioning equipment.
9) Coordinate with customers any new business.
10)Review gate activity for damaged equipment in depot systems and ensure staff is passing rebill information to accounting.
11) Other duties assigned.
3 to 5 years experience managing staff to a high level of performance. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft products needed. The ultimate candidate will have marine terminal operations experience or container ship experience.
