We are a full school and adding two more classrooms onto our building this winter. We’re preparing for this growth now by adding to our team! Join our team in time to come to our winter teacher appreciation event in a Suite at the MN Wild game in late January!

Our Lead, Assistant Teachers, and Aides work together:

• Developing lesson plans (Leads do most of the lesson planning but assistants are encouraged to help as well!),
• Meeting the individual’s needs of the children,
• Parent communication,
• Participation in staff and training meetings,
• Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom,
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
• Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
• Building teamwork.
• Using assessment tools.
• Committing to continuing education.

Assistant Teacher Qualifications:

• 12 post-secondary credits in early childhood development or a related field.
• Experience working with children ages 6 weeks-6 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.

Teacher’s Aide Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Experience with 6 weeks to 6 years preferred, not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
