Compensation: 80-100K – depends on experience. Includes a Bonus Program.

Details of the Driver Rehabilitation Services Division:
The Next Street’s Driver Rehabilitation Services is a unique rehabilitative offering in the very niche Driver Education space. As one of the only providers of driver rehabilitation in the Northeast, The Next Street is focused on giving our clients the freedom of mobility. A driver’s license is so much more than a piece of plastic. It represents freedom, independence and responsibility. For the clients that we work with, this independence has been brought into question by some component of their health. Through a collaborative effort between our occupational therapists and driving instructors, we work to help people obtain or maintain their driver’s license by evaluating their driving needs and then training them how to safely operate a motor vehicle.

Position Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for creating an environment where staff are highly engaged and focused on providing the highest level of care and training to our clients. The GM will be a strategic driver of customer happiness, employee happiness, business excellence, and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance. This position will be tasked with scaling the operation across the northeast over the next 3-5 years. The General Manager will be given the autonomy to build the business on their own and the resources that they need from across the organization to accomplish the short- and long- term goals. The GM will be expected to collaborate across departments, grow a talented team that believes in our services and our core values and to promote our company culture of employee happiness inside and outside of work. This role may involve some travel.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day clinical, driver training and administrative activities of the department.

• Establish, track and improve financial, service, culture and programmatic goals

• Provide leadership to all staff in meeting the goal of providing outstanding client care and service

• Represent and establish relationships with surrounding community and hospitals and other health care providers to continually grow our referral network

• Financial management of the division including developing and adhering to a department budget

• Identify operational issues and implements systems and processes that create scalable solutions

• Develop a scalable and repeatable training program for all new hires

• Develop a scalable and repeatable continuing education program for all team members

• Hire, onboard and train new high quality team members to meet the needs of organic growth

• Maintain and guide the implementation of Rehab Services procedures and expectations in compliance with corporate, state, federal, and other regulatory guidelines

• Implement the strategic direction of the organization

• Provide support and encouragement to staff in providing an atmosphere of self-improvement

• Develop programs and implement changes successfully

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree is required. A Master’s degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or health related field preferred

• Five+ years of leadership ability

• Strong experience as a leader and developer of high performing teams and employees

• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills

• Experience developing and using metrics to measure performance of teams, processes, and services

• Solid understanding of operational impact on profit and loss and experience creating and managing a budget, strong financial analysis skills and strategic planning.

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance issues, including HIPPA

• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

• Solid change management skills

• Must be a self-starter that can work with minimal direction

• Thirst for learning and growing both personally and professionally

• An analytical mind

• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships

• A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data

• Ability to stick to time constraints
