The HR Associate role is focused on two main areas: Employee Engagement and Recruiting.
The HR Associate will promote employee engagement by aiding in periodic special events, company and local recognition programs and by with partnering with management to creatively facilitate an excellent overall employee experience The HR Associate must provide excellent customer service and support to employees to foster a work environment that upholds the company’s principles and culture. This role is also responsible for generalist type duties such as answering HR related questions and will escalate and/or document Employee Relations and Legal issues as appropriate to the HR Manager, Site Director, etc. He or she refers people as needed to resources including; EAP, benefits manager, community resources, medical leaves and more.
As for the Recruiting side of the HR Associate’s job, the individual in this role may help create and post job ads, manage events and execute advertising plans. This individual may also be responsible for screening/interviewing and scheduling candidates, sending and collecting assessment results, and ordering background checks. The HR Associate will maintain an applicant database, conduct first round interviews, and schedule second round interviews. There is a HIGH VOLUME of recruiting in this role.
This position reports to the HR Director and may have one or multiple direct reports, specifically in administrative or HR functions.
This position will have a workspace inside a sales center and routinely work onsite. We are temporarily offering hybrid work from home options based on COVID-19. Some travel is possible.
